Site name improvements

We’ve improved our XML Reach platform, to make it even quicker for you to get your quotes.

What’s changing?

  • Ok – this is a bit technical but here’s the low down on what is being improved:
the site name attribute will become an optional parameter in the input XML
  • TOID and UPRN will be added as new parameters to the output XML within the existing Site tag
  • the site names used in a quote will be auto-allocated by our pricing tool– meaning that you don’t have to worry about creating and using unique references and additionally, saving your platform processing time and complexity.
We’re doing this to speed up the quotation site search functionality, so that quotes are produced faster for you.

How will this affect my system configuration?

Although you don’t need to make any changes to your Input schema, just bear in mind that the site name returned to you will be a system generated reference on the output XML.

Is there any technical support?

For further information, please take a look at our latest user guide where you find examples of the new schema. If you have any additional queries then please contact your Account Manager.

When will these changes happen?

The upgrade work took place over the weekend of the 7th and 8th January 2017.
