Digital transformation: it’s time for a different kind of revolution

Has your digital been transformed? Your growth hacked? Your paradigm shifted?

Frankly that all sounds a little bit painful.

It’s time to change the way we talk about digital transformation.

In fact, we need to go further than that. We need to rethink what it means and how we can make it feel more tangible, meaningful and achievable.

This isn’t just our marketing spin. It’s the collective view of organisations across the UK.

We spent a lot of time last year talking to our customers and industry peers from both the public and private sectors as part of a brand new piece of research. We asked them about their experience with digital transformation: the good, the bad, the ugly. We listened to them. And their message could not have been clearer:

For many organisations like yours, digital transformation just isn’t working.

There’s a huge gap between what they’ve been promised and what they’re actually experiencing. The reality doesn’t match the ambition and vision they had at the start.

Why? What’s going wrong? And how can we change it?

We may not have all the answers now. But based on what we’ve been hearing, one thing is certain: something has to change.

We’re hoping our research can help make that happen.

But this is only the start of the conversation.

In the coming months we’ll be doing everything we can to challenge the status quo: publishing regular insights, bringing decision-makers together and collectively creating a better way forward for digital transformation.

Who knows? We might even start a revolution…
