How does SIP Trunking work?

SIP Trunking takes your existing data connection and allows you to layer voice over the top. Your voice traffic is prioritised so that you shouldn’t experience a dip in phone quality if someone is trying to download a huge file.

SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is an open standard, effectively a common language that means that our SIP Trunking service can work with the vast majority of phone systems in the market today.

 SIP Trunking plugs into your phone system to enable calls into and out of your premises.  It’s just like normal phone lines, except you don’t need dedicated voice circuits to do the job for you.
