Reduced prices on National Ethernet services and UltimateFlex contracts from January
By Kat Randall Bowmaker, Head of Commercial, Virgin Media O2 Business
Last June, we introduced UltimateFlex — a step-change in wholesale connectivity that provides a range of commercial benefits that can’t be found in traditional contracts.
It allows you, our partners, to respond to changes in the market by upgrading, downgrading or cancelling your ethernet, internet access and high capacity services at any time after the first 90 days — helping you to make commercial decisions without having to worry about unplanned installations, excess construction costs or cancelled circuits.
But that’s not the only thing that makes UltimateFlex so revolutionary. With price benchmarking, ongoing charges for installed
services are continually adjusted to stay in line with our standard tariff rates for new businesses – so you can be sure you’re always paying the going market rates for the lifetime of that service, without ever having to renegotiate.
On 11 January, we reduced our prices across key National Ethernet bandwidths. These adjustments mark the first price reduction for UltimateFlex customers – and our partners can expect to see their savings compounded over time following future price changes.
These changes include a reduction of 3% per annum on 1Gbps National Ethernet prices, along with reductions across all fractional bandwidths from 70Mbps up to 1Gbps. Virgin Media Business Wholesale has never raised any of its standard tariff prices and has no plans to do so in the future.
It’s all part of our commitment to give back to our partners, offering competitive prices over the entire life of the service and ultimately
helping to unlock margin opportunities over time.
