Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a digital alternative to traditional phone lines. It uses your internet connection to support your voice and data needs. It works with Managed Internet Access, IP Virtual Private Networks and even broadband connectivity. In its most basic format it enables voice calls to be carried over your data connectivity, but also allows you to add on additional features such as conferencing (video and telephone), instant messaging and document sharing.
Our VoIP solutions include SIP Trunking and Cloud Voice. We use SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Trunking to enable you to make and receive calls over your existing data connectivity. Cloud Voice is an IP Centrex product. We supply all the kit. All you need is internet connectivity. For SIP Trunking you’ll need an IPVPN or Managed Internet Access connection. For Cloud Voice, you’ll need a broadband connection as a minimum.
