PLANNED OUTAGE - BUSINESS BROADBAND (HITRON ROUTER)

Good news! We’re upgrading our network – and your service. But it will (very) briefly interrupt your internet connection (if you have a Hitron router) at some point between 00:01 am and 03:00am on the dates below, for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Your router will then re-start a few times and then the upgrade will be complete.

  • Wednesday 6th November

You will only be impacted on one of the above dates and you’ll have been notified of your specific date by email.

We may need to do some further updates in the next few months but we’ll let you know in advance if you’re impacted.

Is there anything I need to do in advance?

The only thing you need to do is ensure that your router is switched on. And that no other critical traffic is scheduled at your end for the same time.

Experiencing problems post upgrade?

If for any reason you experience limited or slow connectivity after the upgrade, please reboot your device. You can do this either by unplugging the power cable (and plugging it back in and waiting for at least 5 minutes for the modem to connect), or via the Hitron webpage on connect http://hitronhub.home and then select Admin > Device Reset > Reset (not Factory Reset).

Please allow around 10 to 20 minutes for this re-boot to take effect. You can also check our handy online help, available here.
