What sets Virgin Media Business apart? For a start, we have the UK’s only nationwide fibre network, able to connect to 85% of UK businesses without using any other carrier. That means we can offer you carrier-grade connectivity with everything from unconstrained public Internet access to dedicated high capacity services with low latency and blistering speed – all available nationwide.
As well as the massive bandwidth you expect from fibre, our network has fewer intermediate connections – a low hop count – which gives it extremely low latency, translating into better performance for end users.

How secure is your network?
Our network has recently undergone a rigorous audit of our security procedures and as a result we were awarded the NGN 2-2-4 security accreditation. This new security standard guarantees our dedication to ensuring maximum security and integrity for your data as it travels across our network.
We were the first UK network provider to be awarded Public Services Network (PSN) accreditation, meaning we’re certified to handle government data.
What types of data can your network carry?
Our network’s stellar performance gives you confidence in your performance across all types of data – we’re MEF 14 compliant for voice, data and video in concurrent stress tests across the live network.
