To demonstrate this kind of scalability, look at how we worked with the Devon Fire & Rescue Service. With fire stations and offices and central HQ scattered across the county, they asked us to help them with a cost-effective IT infrastructure that would be fast, fail-safe and future-proof.
Our solution, based on an innovative microwave radio link, was trialled and then rolled out across the whole organisation. But it didn’t stop there.
When Somerset Fire & Rescue merged with their Devon counterparts, our solution suddenly had to scale up to serve 90 stations and 2,000 personnel. It coped effortlessly. We had everyone up and running in just eight weeks. And no emergencies.
