We’ve invested over £13 billion to build and own the UK’s largest nationwide fibre optic network — end-to-end. It’s the largest privately built network in the UK, with 330 Ethernet PoPs and over 38,000 street cabinets across the country.
Our Carrier Ethernet services are provided over a fibre MPLS core rather than old technologies such as ATM or SONET. And our IP technology makes our network hugely flexible and scalable.
We’re close to you, too. Our fibre-optic network reaches right to the kerb — you probably walk past it every day. This makes it quick and easy to deliver fibre directly into your premises. And, you can use Ethernet without relying on legacy technologies, for better throughput and improved performance. Our MEF-14 certified Ethernet services support the most demanding real-time communications applications, including VoIP and HD-quality video conferencing.
