Andrew Kitchen
Senior Counsel
Andrew Kitchen is Senior Counsel for Virgin Media Business, a member of the Business Division's senior management team, with direct responsibility for the provision of legal advice and support. He is a highly experienced in-house telecommunications lawyer who has been with the company for over 13 years.
After qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994 Andrew spent two years in private practice before joining NTL broadcast in 1996 as Legal Advisor. He soon moved within the group to Cabletel supporting its residential cable and media and marketing divisions. From 2001 to 2006 Andrew was responsible for the provision and management of legal support to ntl Business.
In 2006 he took up the position of Company Solicitor in the newly formed ntl:Telewest Business group and was appointed Senior Counsel for the Business Division at the beginning of 2010.
Andrew holds an LLB (Hons) Law degree from Newcastle Upon Tyne Polytechnic.
